• Current, active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of a master’s degree or doctoral degree, preferably in Nursing.
• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is preferred.
  
  - If the master’s degree is in another discipline, the candidate must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and meet applicable graduate nursing coursework requirements, including six (6) graduate nursing credits, as required.
• Demonstrated teaching ability and the ability to maintain current knowledge, clinical expertise, and safety in the assigned subject area.
• Must meet applicable state, regulatory, and accreditation requirements for nursing faculty.

• Minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience in a professional nursing education program.
