Job Summary

We are currently seeking a full‑time Associate Veterinarian to join our team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high‑quality care to animals and a desire to work in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment. The Associate Veterinarian will work closely with our team of experienced veterinarians to provide comprehensive medical care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and diagnostic tests on patients
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for a variety of medical conditions
  • Perform surgeries, including spays, neuters, and other soft tissue procedures
  • Prescribe and administer medications as needed
  • Educate clients on preventative care and treatment options for their pets
  • Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with the rest of the veterinary team
  • Collaborate with other veterinarians and support staff to provide the best possible care for our patients
  • Stay current on industry developments and advancements in veterinary medicine
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
  • Licensed to practice in the state of Texas
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary setting
  • Strong surgical and medical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Passion for providing exceptional care to animals
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends
