DVM Travel Operations Veterinarian – Houston, TX

A growing veterinary network in the Tennessee region is seeking a Travel Operations Veterinarian to help support and guide multiple hospitals in the local market. This unique position offers the perfect blend of clinical medicine and leadership—ideal for a skilled veterinarian who enjoys mentorship, collaboration, and shaping the future of practice operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality medical care while maintaining an active clinical caseload
  • Mentor and support veterinarians, including new graduates, through direct coaching and case collaboration
  • Partner with hospital teams to strengthen workflow efficiency, client experience, and team communication
  • Collaborate with leadership to uphold medical standards and consistent hospital performance
  • Contribute to recruitment, onboarding, and retention of talented veterinary professionals
  • Monitor key performance indicators, assist with scheduling, and ensure compliance with medical and regulatory standards
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
  • Active veterinary license (or eligibility for licensure) in relevant states
  • Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities
  • Willingness to travel regionally to support assigned hospitals
