, Wilcrest Animal Hospital is a well-established small animal practice with a dedicated team of support staff and experienced Veterinarians. We’re proud of our collaborative culture , strong mentorship, and the fun we bring to high-quality patient care.

Externs will work closely with our veterinarian and team members to gain valuable, real-world experience in:

Taking patient histories and performing physical exams

Developing diagnostic and treatment plans

Assisting with (or performing) surgical and dental procedures

Participating in internal medicine, wellness, and behavioral case workups

Practicing communication skills with both clients and the veterinary team

in the day-to-day clinical work, with
mentorship tailored to your interests and experience level

• Duration: minimum 2 weeks, up to 4weeks (flexible based on student/hospital schedules)
