QHSE & Sustainability Coordinator

We are seeking a dynamic, positive and proactive QHSE Coordinator / Sustainability Coordinator to join our team. Are you dedicated in driving and managing the quality assurance and sustainability initiatives across our organization?

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving and managing the quality assurance and sustainability initiatives across our organization and in ensuring that our products and operations meet the highest quality standards while advancing our sustainability goals. This role requires excellent knowledge of quality systems, regulations, industry standards and also good communication skills, a proactive approach, and a passion for quality and continuous improvement.

• Develop, implement and maintain quality management systems and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure continuous enhancement of quality standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers, partners and colleagues to ensure quality requirements are met both throughout the supply chain as well as reducing our own environmental footprint.
• Address and resolve any quality‑related issues promptly, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
• Develop and lead sustainability initiatives in line with the company’s strategic goals.
• Monitor and report on QHSE and sustainability metrics.
• Stay updated on quality, health, safety, environment and sustainability trends and regulations to ensure the company remains compliant and competitive.

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Environmental Science, Sustainability or a related field.
• Proven relevant experience of minimum 3‑5 years.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (i.e. ISO
  9001) and sustainability frameworks (i.e. ISO
  14001).
• In‑depth understanding of certifications such as Organic, Rainforest Alliance and Fairtrade.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, problem‑solving, communicative and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast‑paced and changing environment.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented and team‑player with the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in ERP and CRM software and Microsoft Office. Languages;
  English required, Dutch preferred and other languages beneficial.
