About the Role
  • Lead and support quality assurance initiatives in a manufacturing environment, ensuring products and processes meet industry standards, regulations, and internal guidelines.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to drive process improvements and enhance product quality.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects, root cause analysis, and problem-solving efforts to reduce defects and increase efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and improve quality control systems and processes, filling gaps where necessary
  • Conduct inspections of products, components, and materials to ensure compliance with specifications and work instructions
  • Track and document material purchases, inspect incoming materials, and address supplier quality or delivery issues
  • Implement and manage process control, testing, and inspection methodologies
  • Contribute to the creation and update of product work standards, operating procedures, and quality documentation
  • Promote quality standards, inspection processes, test plans, and reporting across the organization
  • Assist with investigations into customer complaints, product failures, or equipment issues, recommending corrective and preventive actions
  • Develop internal audit plans and participate in internal and external audits
  • Support quality assurance training programs for operations teams
  • Identify operational improvement opportunities, implement corrective actions, and measure outcomes
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in a quality role within manufacturing
  • Knowledge of quality standards and methodologies such as ISO, Six Sigma, or equivalent
  • Strong skills in reading and interpreting technical drawings, GD&T, and work instructions
  • Experience with ERP systems and data management
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Knowledge of logistics, regulatory compliance, and hazardous materials handling
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Oracle systems
  • Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
  • Experience planning, prioritizing, and executing work in a fast-paced environment
