Job Title: Inspector

Location: Cypress, Texas

Reports To: International Shipping Supervisor

Type: Full-Time, Temp to Hire

Overview:

As a global leader in the supply and processing of high-performance alloys for the oil & gas, power generation, and aerospace industries, our client is committed to delivering exceptional precision and quality. We are currently seeking an Inspector to join our production team. This position plays a vital role in the first stage of our manufacturing process by accurately cutting raw metal materials to exact specifications using industrial saws.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verification process of Bill of Lading against Purchase Order
• Hardness test material as required.
• Dimensionally inspect per specification and requirements
• Document acceptance or rejection of products
• Inspection of mills and back to backs
• Other duties as assigned
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training is a plus.
• 6 months – 1 year experience in inspection
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Equipment knowledge of the following: precision measurement equipment (OD and , tape measure), forklift, grinder, and Brinell hardness testing equipment
