Quality Management System Consultant

Temp to hire

Part time or Full time

Office based role with 20 time in the Company manufacturing facility (Katy Shop)

Reports to:

Director, QHSSE

Job Responsibilities:

Drive operational implementation and compliance of company QHSSE strategies, initiatives, procedures, and policies to enhance performance.

• Assist with the development of an integrated Quality & HSE Management System.
• Work collaboratively with others to promote a participative approach to QHSSE program.
• Influence and engage all employees to demonstrate the right behaviors with regard to QHSSE.
• Help to develop and implement compliance audits for all locations.
• Provide input into product design decisions based on quality factors.
• Help to develop processes and a component tracking system to monitor and report on tool component usage.
• Use analytical tools to assure the early identification of potential issues with new products and processes.
• Help benchmark current performance vs key quality KPIs, measure achievement, and address root causes of variances.
• Help to drive the investigation of all customer quality issues, facilitate resolution, and successfully complete all related corrective and prevention actions.
• Interface with customers and vendors on QHSSE matters (tenders, audits, etc) as required.
• Assist with and direct staff to successfully execute all QHSSE initiatives.
• Assist with regular written reports, metrics, and updates as required.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an undergraduate degree in Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Skills typically acquired through 5+ years quality & HSE experience of which 5 years must be oilfield related.
• Audit Experience is a Plus
• Industry certifications are a plus
