Quality Assurance Inspector

Job Description

Tool-Flo is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. In this vital role, you'll be on the front lines of ensuring that every carbide insert and cutting tool leaving our facility meets our rigorous standards for precision and excellence. You'll play a direct part in maintaining the superior quality that Tool-Flo is known for worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive inspections of carbide cutting tools and components at various stages of production, from raw materials to finished products.
• Utilize a range of precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and electronic inspection equipment to accurately assess product dimensions and characteristics.
• Interpret and apply complex blueprints and engineering specifications to verify product conformity and identify any deviations.
• Document all inspection findings meticulously, maintaining detailed records and reports of quality data.
• Operate basic computer software for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
• Communicate effectively with production teams, engineers, and management regarding quality issues, discrepancies, and corrective actions.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying trends and suggesting enhancements to quality processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in a quality inspection or manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications with precision.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and various gauges.
• Basic computer skills for data entry, reporting, and utilizing inspection software.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting and collaboration.
• Basic mathematical skills for accurate measurement and calculation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Rate of Pay $18 - $20 base on knowledge and experience.
