The Research Analyst Intern is responsible for collecting accurate market information and proactively maintaining the company's proprietary database. Information gathered will include commercial real estate properties available for lease and sale, tracking completed lease and sale transactions, data economics, developments under construction/pipeline along with tenant/buyer information. Interpreting data collected for quarterly statistical reporting along with any "ad-hoc" analysis.

Job Description
  • You will assist in tracking and analyzing all aspects of the local commercial real estate market and will leverage that knowledge proactively for research market reports, client projects and business development efforts.
  • Adhere to set standards to assure data quality.
  • Prepare quarterly statistical market reports.
  • Create presentations with charts and graphs to present to higher-ups and management.
  • Identify market trends.
  • Work with research team to fulfill broker research requests.
  • Attend internal broker meetings.
  • Attend staff meetings.
  • Attend local commercial real estate symposiums.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
  • Strong organizational, data collection, validation, and auditing skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, succeed under pressure and effectively manage time and workload.
  • Ability to commit to lengthy, complex projects.
  • Motivated and self-starting with a desire to succeed and contribute to the success of a team.
  • Be curious by nature and demonstrate the ability through investigative research.
  • Demonstrate an interest in the commercial real estate industry.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of commercial real estate research experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with CoStar, Loopnet and other CRE Industry applications.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite including Excel.
  • Texas Real Estate License a plus!
