$15.00/hr - $15.00/hr

Responsible for the daily assigned operations of the café.

• Maintain inventory of Kid’s Café. Monitor stock levels and replenish items, ensure rotation of perishables.
• Monitor vending machines in the courtyard, including stocking product and emptying cash.
• Handle register transactions, wait on customers, take and prepare orders, keep seating area clean (floor and table), deliver food to customers, make coffee and popcorn, serve ice cream and icees, wash dishes and help with morning prep in food area.
• Help with all opening and closing procedures (from setting up chairs in the morning to cleaning and restocking everything before going home regardless of shift).
• Must have ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds; carry, load carts and lift over head to fill ice in soda machine.
• Other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Prefer some cash register or food preparation experience.

Preferred

Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 25 pounds; carry, load carts and lift over head to fill ice in soda machine.

• Works with food processing equipment (fryer, grill, slicer etc)
• Weekend work required
• Inside Gallery/Shop conditions for majority of work time
• Requires work time both indoors and outdoors over 40 hours
