BAKER (FULL TIME)

Location:

Chevron Downtown — 1500 Louisiana Street, Houston, TX 77002. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule:

Full‑time, Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Prepares baked goods according to recipes and production specifications.

• Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per production and catering sheets; assist in production planning to meet daily requirements.
• Ensure proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards.
• Complete production records, including waste tracking, used/unused portions, and product shortages; alert supervisor when supplies are low.
• Maintain proper presentation, food quality, portion control, and serving temperatures.
• Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils.
• Handle food items safely and in compliance with safety regulations.
• Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area; keep display equipment clean and free of debris.
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly and customer‑service oriented manner; relay concerns to supervisors.
• Keep up with peak production and service calmly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Check that all food is presented, served, and displayed per standards.
• Follow sanitation and safety principles; ensure corporate and OSHA safety standards are followed.
• Complete shift work as assigned, timely and thorough.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Prior baking experience is required.
