Overview
Seeking an Area Supervisor to provide leadership, coaching, direction, develop staff and enhance restaurant operations to maximize long-term sales and profit of each restaurant. Consistently demonstrates McDonald's values and leadership behaviors to build positive business relationships with guests as well as the Restaurant Leadership Team and Crew. The Area Supervisor will coach the overall operational activities of multiple restaurants, travel regularly to assigned locations, and work with General Managers to achieve operational results.
This is a full-time position with the requirement to work various shifts and travel as needed. Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary to engage with all levels of the organization.
- Lead, coach, and develop staff across multiple restaurants (overseeing 3-4 locations).
- Partner with General Managers to set restaurant goals and create plans to achieve them.
- Manage restaurant P&L and ensure Quality, Service, and Cleanliness standards are met.
- Hire and develop Department and Shift Managers; conduct performance reviews with GMs every six months and ensure managers and staff receive reviews.
- Work shoulder-to-shoulder with GMs to maintain crew staffing levels, reduce turnover, and create a positive, engaging restaurant environment.
- Align with McDonald’s people practices and support ongoing staff development and succession planning.
- Travel regularly to assigned restaurants to support management teams and ensure consistent operations.
- Previous supervisory experience, ideally running high-performing locations.
- Strong background in quick service restaurant operations; experience in hospitality or retail is desirable.
- Ability to relocate if required and willingness to travel to multiple locations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
