Job SummaryBusser is a restaurant professional who is responsible for making sure that tables are set, silverware is placed correctly and glasses stay full. They support the waiter staff to ensure all tables are set and cleared in a timely manner. The ideal busser is detail oriented, self‑motivated and committed to providing outstanding customer service every day.
Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional customer service by quickly and efficiently clearing restaurant tables
- Carry large loads of dishes to kitchen for washing
- Support other areas of the restaurant as necessary, such as setup, cleanup, prep work and equipment maintenance
- Maintaining overall cleanliness of dining room and restrooms
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
- Able to multi-task
- Ability to stand for long period so time, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces
- Customer service focused and solution oriented
- Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast‑paced work environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs
- Food handler's card may be required according to local and or state regulations
