Bartenders at IAH are responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction and executing the OTG steps of service to the highest standards.

• Follow OTG steps of service and standard operating procedures.
• Greet guests pleasantly.
• Walk guests through the OTG ordering and payment system.
• Highlight menu, food and beverage options; make suggestions based on guest preferences and/or dietary restrictions/allergies.
• Prepare drinks following OTG recipes and ensure they are delivered in a timely manner.
• Follow OTG cash handling and cash register policies and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness within the restaurant’s dining and service stations.
• Support with moving and installing kegs of beer, CO2 tanks, and soda guns.
• Communicate with Chefs and Managers to ensure food is delivered to guests in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations.
• Participate in training sessions and team meetings as required.
• Assist team members as needed.
• Inform MOD on guest complaints, feedback, and inquiries.
• Monitor and report intoxicated guests to MOD.
• Inform leadership of low inventory and equipment issues.
• Perform additional tasks requested by the OTG leadership team.

• 1–2 years of bartending experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Familiarity with preparing classic cocktails and knowledge of spirits.
• Proficiency with food and beverage service, including beer, wine and cocktail pairings.
• Fluent and fully conversational in English.
• Bartenders must obtain TIPS certification within 90 days of employment.
• Must obtain Serv Safe Certification or equivalent within 30 days of being hired.
• Able to lift 35 lbs.
• Must be mobile and able to stand for extended periods; able to stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Must be available to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, holidays, and inclement weather.

Pay rate: $2.13 per hour plus tips.
