Overview

Double Tree hotel and Suites by the Galleria is looking for people that are passionate about delivering great guest service through food. If you have previous hotel culinary or restaurant line cook experience, apply today!

Shift: AM Shift

• Prepare food according to recipe and ensure portion, quality and presentation standards are consistently met
• Date all food containers, consistently use FIFO method, ensure perishables are properly stored and note any out of stock items or possible shortages
• Check pars for shift use and determine necessary preparation for line setup
• Consistently practice sanitation procedures to refrain from cross contamination, maintain cleanliness and sanitization of work station and kitchen equipment

• At least two (2) years of hotel culinary or restaurant line cook experience required
• Flexible to work weekends and holidays
• Must have the ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written
• Must be able to stand/walk for at least eight (8) hours
• Self-starter, able to work independently or in a team environment
• Strong ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Current Food Handler Certification required
