• Provide high level of service to all retail and installer customers and support store management in assigned tasks.
• Follow and promote company customer service programs (Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot, etc.).
• Greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly manner and assist with merchandise selection.
• Assist managers and installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed.
• Complete assigned company training relevant to the position.
• Answer store calls per policy, look up parts and quote prices, recommend premium/related items, and offer the Low-Price Guarantee.
• Manage cash drawer, accept cash/checks, make change, and process credit card transactions.
• Process exchanges and returns per policy, address and resolve customer complaints.
• Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates, freight receival, stocking, fronting, facing, and cleaning.
• Perform daily operational tasks such as preparing merchandise returns for shipment to distribution center, and assist with inventory tasks.
• Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training and requirements are met.
• Perform in-store services for customers where allowed by state/local laws (e.g., install wipers, test/charge batteries, scan vehicle trouble codes, replace headlight capsules).
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate (driving record must meet company requirements).
• All other duties as assigned.

• Required:
  
  Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences; ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service; ability to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in-store simultaneously.
• Desired:
  Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service; ASE certification; fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
