Under direct supervision of the Grocery Manager, the Grocery Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful service. The role includes:

• Assisting customers
• Cleaning displays and shelves
• Filling and rotating self‑serve displays
• Performing heavy lifting, bending, and stooping for long periods
• Working a variety of hours, including nights and weekends

• Read and write Spanish/English; interact with the general public and coworkers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Lifting: up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
