Retail Keyholder; Store

Overview

Game Stop is hiring a Retail Keyholder (Store 1723) to assist the store management team in executing and supervising all store activities. The role prioritizes guest service, sales, store operations, and inventory management under moderate supervision.

• Provide best‑in‑class guest service: greet guests, answer questions, recommend items, and express gratitude.
• Support visual and operational store environment and nurture guest relationships that drive sales and repeat business.
• Process purchases and returns accurately via the POS computer system.
• Promote Game Stop guest benefits such as title reservations and Pro Rewards.
• Maintain store cleanliness, merchandising, equipment function, and inventory accuracy.
• Complete daily Omni‑Channel orders and store inventory counts.
• Safeguard company assets through inventory control, loss prevention, and daily bank deposits.
• Assist management with sales, profit, and shrink goals and complete required administrative duties.
• Check shipments, process defectives/recalls, stock pulls, and perform end‑shift inspections.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to Sales Associates when management is absent.
• Adhere to all Game Stop policies, opening/closing procedures, and performance expectations.

• Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Minimum age 18 and high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year retail sales or guest service experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.
• Ability to work independently, stand, and move throughout the store unassisted up to 10 hours per day.

• Exceptional guest service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic math and alphabetizing skills.
• Teamwork, self‑motivation, problem‑solving, and judgment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, reach, climb ladders, lift up to 30 lbs., and stand/move for up to 10 hours.
• Proficiency operating POS systems and completing required paperwork.

Full‑time store positions may be eligible for incentive programs, 401(k), paid time off, dental, vision, and health insurance, as well as bonuses and other incentives.

$8.50 – $11.25 per hour
