• Read and write Spanish and English; interact with the general public and co‑workers
• Comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos
• Write simple correspondence
• Present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and employees
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
• Lift up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally

Assist in maintaining the store, especially the Produce Department, and help customers on the floor as needed. Responsibilities include bagging groceries, carrying groceries for customers, maintaining store cleanliness, retrieving carts, running price checks, assisting with go‑backs, check‑stand upkeep, and removing waste from the parking area. Physical requirements include lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, and visual and auditory duties.
