Job OverviewWe are seeking a talented individual to join our Health and Benefits Sales team. As a Senior Employee Benefits (Health & Benefits) Sales Consultant, you will leverage Mercer’s expertise to develop innovative sales strategies addressing healthcare, financial security, and career development for employers and their employees.
Responsibilities- Apply deep market and internal service insights to cold calls to engage potential clients, generate interest, and schedule meetings or presentations.
- Create compelling sales proposals, presentations and RFP responses that meet complex prospect needs and communicate business value.
- Lead complex sales processes from identification to closing, including pricing negotiations, product discussions, and securing beneficial financial outcomes for the business.
- BA/BS degree.
- Strong track record of achieving sales goals.
- Experience selling to companies with 100–5,000 employees in the benefits space.
- Knowledge of the Employee Benefits or Health and Benefits consulting industry and products.
- Wide network and ability to access C‑suite executives.
- Life and Health License.

Base salary range: $97,000 – $194,500. Performance‑based incentives may apply.
