Now that the product team has built a truly disruptive product, it is time for sales to drive the company forward. Partners will be one of our biggest force multipliers in our go‑to‑market strategy and the Channel is soon to become a major lever for growth.
Base Pay Range$133,000 – $180,000 per year
RoleAccelerate Meter’s sales growth through the Channel in the Central region by building, executing and scaling the partner ecosystem, specifically with Value‑Added Resellers (VARs).
What Success Looks Like- Create a business plan that enables Meter to scale effectively through partners in the Central region.
- Develop an enablement strategy to attract, develop and grow relationships with targeted partners that can bring outsized value to Meter.
- Drive deal registrations and closed‑won revenue within our named partners.
- Build, own and scale a partner enablement program for named partners.
- Diligently hunt down and onboard new VARs and partners in the region.
- Meet virtually and in‑person with key existing VAR contacts, channel reps and regional leadership to strengthen relationships and uncover deal opportunities.
- Identify target verticals and accounts where partners already have existing relationships and influence.
- Track and drive deal registrations through to closed‑won revenue alongside Meter’s direct sales team.
- Align with internal sales, product and marketing teams to maintain a cohesive regional strategy.
- Monitor and analyze partner pipeline metrics, identifying bottlenecks or high‑leverage activities.
- Deliver ongoing training and enablement to partners, ensuring they are up to date on Meter’s offerings, roadmap and competitive positioning.
- Travel 50%+ to meet customers and partners in person for training sessions, lunch‑and‑learns and technical overviews.
- Represent Meter at partner events, trade shows and joint customer meetings, and organize our own Meter‑sponsored events to deepen engagement and generate pipeline.
- Forecast channel‑driven revenue and report on progress against targets with sales leadership.
- Growth mindset and a “think BIG” attitude, capable of leveraging the channel and envisioning an improved future state.
- Extensive experience with channel partners, VARs and MSPs, with existing relationships in the Central market (Midwest and TOLA).
- Prefer experience in technology or internet infrastructure.
- Track record of driving pipeline, deal registrations and closed‑won revenue through partners that helped teams over‑achieve on OTEs.
- Engaged with partners at both individual contributor and leadership levels.
- Past experience as a successful mid‑market or enterprise seller.
- Confident presenter to stakeholders, both virtually and in-person.
- Comfortable with ≥ 50% travel, targeting partners and customers to increase brand awareness and generate pipeline.
- Based in the Central time zone, ideally in a major metropolitan area such as Chicago, Austin or Houston, and live close to a major airport.

Compensation- Estimated base salary: $133,000 – $180,000 per year.
