Role DescriptionThe Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with customers, ensuring a smooth purchasing experience, and supporting day‑to‑day account needs. This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively hunt for new business through prospecting, cold outreach, networking, and market research
- Drive the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals and growing accounts
- Build strong relationships with new and existing clients to maximize long‑term revenue
- Manage and support customer accounts through email, phone, in‑person visits, and CRM systems
- Collaborate with UPPF partners and dealers to help them succeed and expand their business
- Work closely with the Inside Sales Representative and warehouse team to ensure accurate, on‑time order processing
- Keep customer information up to date in CRM and ERP platforms for accurate forecasting and reporting
- Assist in creating and posting social media content that supports sales, product education, and brand visibility
- Prepare sales reports, track account activity, and support management with pipeline forecasting
- Address customer questions and issues with professionalism, clarity, and a solution‑focused approach
- Partner with sales and operations teams to continuously improve the customer experience
- Maintain strong knowledge of UPPF products, competitive positioning, and the automotive film industry
- Travel to meet customers, build relationships, and support business development initiatives
- 3+ years of experience in outside sales, customer service, or order processing
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with basic computer systems, including email, spreadsheets, and CRM/ERP tools
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environment
- Experience in the automotive or aftermarket industry is a plus
- Industry Knowledge:
Familiarity with automotive dealership operations, aftermarket installers, or protective films is a plus. - Mindset:
