Orion is partnering with a fast‑growing distributor/supplier of industrial and specialty chemicals in North America. Our client is hiring a full‑time Sales Executive targeting the oil and gas industry based out of Houston, TX. This role is responsible for developing new business, managing customer relationships, and supporting revenue and growth objectives through close collaboration with internal and external partners. Excellent growth opportunity as our client expands in the US!

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new opportunities within the oil and gas verticals
  • Manage and expand relationships with existing customers
  • Source supply options and obtain pricing from suppliers
  • Analyze costs and market conditions to prepare competitive quotations and margins
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline to meet financial targets
  • Collaborate with sales, logistics, finance, suppliers, and service providers
  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities and risks
  • Travel to visit customers and attend industry events
  • Resolve customer issues and ensure compliance with company procedures
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant sales experience, or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience in industrial or specialty chemicals preferred – gas and oil industries
  • Demonstrated record of sales growth and market development
  • Strong commercial judgment, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Self‑motivated, organized, and able to work independently
  • High integrity, strong work ethic, and team‑oriented approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP/CRM experience a plus
  • Willingness to travel as required
