We are excited to invite a motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our clients vibrant team. The perfect candidate will have at least 2 years of sales experience within the freight brokerage industry. As a Sales Representative, you will play a key role in our company’s successful growth strategy.
This position offers a competitive base and uncapped commission structure, giving you the opportunity to carve out a successful and fulfilling career in the logistics industry. Additionally, you’ll have the chance to recruit, train, and hire support staff as needed to enhance your book of business and customer network. Key Responsibilities:
Prospect and Generate Leads:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and other lead generation activities.
- Build and Maintain Relationships:
Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure long-term partnerships. - Sales Pipeline Management:
Manage and grow your sales pipeline by tracking leads, opportunities, and sales activities using our CRM system. - Negotiate Rates:
Negotiate rates with clients and carriers to ensure competitive pricing and service levels. - Coordinate Shipments:
Work closely with your operations team to ensure timely and efficient shipment coordination and delivery. - Achieve Sales Targets:
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the freight brokerage or logistics industry. Must be located in Houston, TX, or Texas
- Skills:
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and carriers. - Technical Proficiency:
Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Self-Motivated:
Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
