Compensation:

$70,000-$75,000 annual base salary, depending on relevant experience, plus 10-15% commission and profit participation in NVC.

About the Role

Newton Vision Corporation is seeking an Account Manager with experience selling IT and AI staff augmentation services in the U.S. market. You will identify new business opportunities, build client relationships, and grow staffing accounts by understanding clients' business and technology workforce needs and connecting them with NVC's recruiting capabilities.

This role combines business development and account management, with close collaboration across recruiting and delivery. The position is based onsite in Houston, Texas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage prospective clients through targeted calls, email outreach, networking, referrals, and client meetings.
  • Build relationships with technology hiring managers, business leaders, and procurement stakeholders.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand clients' hiring needs, technical requirements, budgets, and timelines.
  • Present IT and AI staff augmentation solutions aligned with client priorities.
  • Develop new business opportunities and identify opportunities to expand client accounts.
  • Qualify staffing requisitions and communicate clear requirements to the recruiting team.
  • Partner with recruiters throughout candidate submissions, interviews, client feedback, and placement decisions.
  • Prepare proposals and support negotiations on bill rates and contract terms within NVC's approved guidelines.
  • Maintain client relationships throughout consultant assignments and coordinate with internal teams on service issues, extensions, and additional staffing needs.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, account plans, sales pipelines, and forecasts.
  • Work toward agreed sales, revenue, and gross margin goals.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of consultative B2B sales or account management experience, including at least 2 years selling staff augmentation services in the U.S. market.
  • Demonstrated success acquiring new clients and/or growing staffing accounts.
  • Understanding of contract staffing, bill rates, pay rates, markups, and gross margins.
  • Working knowledge of technology roles and skill sets, with the ability to understand and communicate client hiring requirements.
  • Strong prospecting, relationship management, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience partnering with recruiting teams to support successful placements.
  • Proficiency using a CRM to manage sales activity, opportunities, and forecasts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work onsite in Houston, Texas.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing business in the Houston market.
  • An established network of technology hiring managers or staffing decision-makers.
  • Experience supporting mid-market or enterprise clients.
  • Familiarity with Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Vendor Management System (VMS) environments.
  • Familiarity with nearshore and/or offshore delivery.
  • Familiarity with "Center of Excellence" and "Build-Operate-Transfer" delivery models.
