Business Development Manager, Maritime & Offshore Technology

Houston is the center of Gulf offshore and energy, and many of our clients’ best customers are here. You will open doors with energy producers, OSV and offshore operators, and the service companies that support them.

This is a hunter role with real upside. You will bring in technology companies as PHP clients and open doors for them with shipyards, vessel operators, ports, and energy producers. You will work directly with the founder from week one, and your earnings track the revenue you create.

• Source and close maritime and industrial technology companies as PHP clients
• Run outbound on Linked In, email, and phone, and book meetings with founders and operators
• Lead discovery calls and help shape proposals and pricing
• Build relationships with Gulf Coast fleets, yards, ports, and energy companies
• Represent PHP at industry events in New Orleans, Houston, and along the Gulf Coast
• Keep the pipeline current in our CRM

• 2+ years in B2B sales, business development, or account management; maritime, offshore, energy, defense, or industrial experience is a strong plus
• Comfort with cold outreach and running conversations with senior executives
• A track record of hitting or beating a number
• Genuine interest in maritime technology
• Willingness to travel up to 25% across the Gulf Coast
• Maritime academy, USCG, Navy, or offshore background welcome

Base salary of $85,000 to $115,000 plus uncapped commission on client revenue you originate. On-target earnings for top performers reach $180,000 or more.
