Wastewater Field Technician - Southeast Houston

What You'll Do:
In this role, you will ensure precise and efficient wastewater monitoring:
- Plan and execute daily sample collection routes across multiple sites.
- Collect wastewater samples in accordance with strict safety and environmental standards.
- Label, log, and track samples with accuracy to support reliable data reporting.
- Transport samples to designated laboratories while preserving sample integrity.
- Manage chain-of-custody processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Communicate clearly with facility teams to maintain smooth operations.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Environmental Science, Public Health, Microbiology, Engineering) preferred but not required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Experience in wastewater operations, municipal utilities, or environmental fieldwork is a plus.
- Familiarity with ArcGIS or QGIS is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Lifting and carrying equipment up to 150 lbs with a partner.
- Extended driving, walking, bending, and standing.
- Exposure to a wide range of outdoor weather conditions.
- Pay: $26.00/hour
- Status: Full-time
