What You'll Do:
* Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients at government locations.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities as needed.
* Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
* Observe and report suspicious behaviors or incidents, documenting details accurately for follow-up.
* Interact professionally with members of the public, staff, and visitors while upholding Allied Universal standards.
* Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and monitor for compliance with site regulations.
* Support law enforcement or emergency personnel as directed during incidents at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

* A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
* You must have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
* An active Department of Defense Confidential Clearance is required.
* You must be at least 21 years of age.
* A guard card or license is preferred.
* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
