Job Title: PRN Security Officer - Independent & Assisted Living Facility

We are seeking a dedicated and professional PRN Security Officer to join our team at our Independent and Assisted Living Facility. This position requires a reliable individual who is committed to maintaining the safety and security of our residents and staff, and who can work on an as-needed basis to support our facility’s operations.

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to provide a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations, ensuring the appropriate procedures are followed to maintain safety.
• Report any suspicious activities, safety hazards, or other security concerns to management immediately.
• Operate surveillance equipment and conduct regular checks to ensure all systems are functioning correctly.
• Maintain accurate records, including security logs and incident reports.
• Assist in providing a secure environment during facility events and activities.
• Support the enforcement of facility rules and policies to ensure compliance by residents and guests.
• Provide assistance and excellent customer service to residents and visitors, addressing any concerns or needs promptly.

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent observational and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, on a PRN (as-needed) basis.
• Knowledge of basic safety and emergency response protocols.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting and handling objects up to 50 pounds.
