Security Officer – Floater to ; STX DIV

Join Our Team – Professional Security Officer Needed for High-Profile Property. We are seeking an experienced and dependable Security Officer to provide exceptional service at a prestigious high-rise office building. This is a high-visibility position requiring a polished, professional demeanor, excellent customer service skills, and strong decision-making abilities.

As the first point of contact for tenants, guests, and vendors, you will be representing both our company and our high-profile client. Reliability, professionalism, and attentiveness are key to success in this role.

All new officers will begin as part of our dedicated floater program, supporting coverage across multiple posts for a minimum of 30 days before being eligible for a permanent assignment. The floater program is designed to:

• Ensure new officers are fully cross-trained on all posts and responsibilities.
• Build adaptability and confidence in handling different assignments.
• Reduce coverage gaps and provide immediate support where it’s needed most.
• Allow leadership to evaluate performance and reliability before placement.

• Greet and assist tenants, vendors, and visitors with professionalism and courtesy
• Monitor and control access to the building
• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of the property
• Monitor security systems, including CCTV
• Respond quickly and appropriately to incidents, emergencies, or requests
• Use reporting software to document patrols, incidents, and daily activity reports
• Serve as a dedicated floater during your first month, providing coverage across different posts while gaining full site knowledge

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional security role, preferably in a commercial or high-rise environment
• MUST live within 25 miles of site - 77024
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor – NO NECK, FACE OR BELOW THE WRIST TATTOOS
• Strong judgment and decision-making abilities

• Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus, but not required
