As a Security Officer – Access Control Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at this manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points and conduct thorough patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and attention to detail will contribute to maintaining a secure environment, while your excellent communication skills will support positive interactions with visitors and staff.

• Control access to the location by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site‑specific procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Perform regular and random patrols of the premises, including the perimeter, to observe and report any security‑related concerns or potential hazards.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences in detailed written reports for review by Allied Universal and site management.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, contractors, and visitors with access control policies and procedures.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with all individuals at the location, representing Allied Universal’s commitment to customer service.

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
