As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. Job ScheduleSaturday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Sunday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and/or directing visitors as needed.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when required, following established protocols.
- Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Availability across various days and shifts
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
