Job Summary and QualificationsWe are seeking a Armed Security Officer for our facility to provide a safe and secure environment for patients, staff and visitors. What you will do in this role- You will be responsible for the physical security of the building, emergency department and parking lots.
- You will assist hospital patients, visitors and employees and acknowledge their needs in a timely manner.
- You will respond to various emergency codes to provide security services where appropriate and facilitate communication between hospital and police department during emergency situations.
- Prepares written reports as necessary, including daily activity reports, and incident reports as required.
- Armed Security Officer certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Valid Texas driver's license.
