We are hiring a person who is self‑motivated, maintains professional integrity, can communicate verbally, and adheres to policies and procedures in accordance with best practices.
Responsibilities- Patrol and monitor the company’s premises regularly to discourage criminals and ensure a safe environment.
- Evict trespassers and violators, detain perpetrators while following legal protocols before authorities arrive.
- Provide detailed reports on daily activities and any incidents that may have occurred.
- Use communication devices (two‑way radios) clearly and concisely.
- May perform CPR in emergency situations.
- Maintain vigilance in protecting the company’s property and enforce laws.
- Conduct security checks for specified areas.
- Control visitor and property access during and after work hours.
- Apply good judgment to identify the best course of action.
- Use observation skills to notice any out‑of‑order situations quickly.
- Investigate security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior.
- Report safety issues such as fire hazards, vandalism, and suspicious criminal activity.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of Security Guard experience.
- Level II Non‑Commissioned preferred.
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus.
- Experience in Corrections, Military, or Law Enforcement a plus.
- Security Guard License or Certification.
- Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record and minimum 1 year of driving.
- Stand for long periods of time (4–6 hours).
- Lift up to 25 lbs.
While performing the duties, the employee is occasionally exposed to blood and blood components, as well as other biohazard materials. The noise level is usually moderate. There is an inherent potential for mucous membrane or skin contact with blood, with a risk of exposure to Hepatitis and HIV.
