Job Summary

United Protective Services is hiring a Senior Flex Security Officer to support multiple client sites across the region. This is a non-static, career-track role designed for officers who want consistent hours, higher pay, and a clear path into supervisory and management positions.

Senior Flex Officers learn multiple sites, backfill Supervisors and Field Training Officers (FTOs) when needed, and work directly with branch leadership. This role offers 40+ hours when operational needs require, special assignments, and accelerated professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional security coverage at multiple client sites
• Fill open shifts and respond to short-notice coverage needs
• Patrol properties, control access, and monitor for safety risks
• Complete accurate activity and incident reports
• Enforce client and company security policies
• Communicate clearly with clients and leadership
• Backfill Supervisor and FTO roles as assigned

Schedule & Availability

• Must be available 24/7, up to 6 days per week
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability required
• 40+ hours available when needed
• Flexible assignments across multiple locations

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Texas Level II (Non-Commissioned) Security License (or ability to obtain)
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
• Reliable, professional, and adaptable
• Prior security experience preferred (not required)
