Schedule:
- Thursday | 10:00PM- 7:00AM
- Friday | 10:00PM- 7:00PM
- Saturday | 10:00PM- 7:00PM
- Total weekly hours = 27 hours (set schedule)
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Unarmed Security Guard to join our team. The primary role is to ensure the safety and security of a commercial plaza, its patrons, and properties by preventing theft, vandalism, loitering.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular patrols of the plaza, including common areas, parking lots, and building perimeters.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and report any suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Theft and Vandalism Prevention:
- Observe and identify potential theft and vandalism activities.
- Intervene and address incidents of theft and vandalism appropriately, ensuring minimal disruption to patrons and staff.
- Document and report all incidents of theft, vandalism, or suspicious activities to management.
- Enforce plaza rules and regulations to prevent loitering.
- Approach and engage with individuals who are loitering to ensure they adhere to plaza policies.
- Provide a visible and approachable presence for plaza patrons, offering assistance and directions as needed.
- Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor at all times.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, including medical incidents, disturbances, and alarms.
- Assist in evacuations and other emergency procedures as directed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and enforcement actions.
- Prepare incident reports and submit them to management in a timely manner.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent observational and reporting skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to respond quickly to incidents and emergencies.
