City Security Services is seeking a professional, dependable, and alert Armed Security Officer to provide security services within a Transit Center. In this role, you will conduct foot patrols, monitor trespassing, loitering and respond to security incidents, and maintain a visible security presence throughout the property. Successful candidates must be able to remain calm under pressure, exercise sound judgment, and handle emergency situations with professionalism and confidence.
Responsibilities:- Conduct foot patrols throughout a transit center
- Monitor traffic on the property
- Use professional communication and de-escalation techniques when interacting with upset, disruptive, or uncooperative individuals.
- Respond to complaints, disturbances, and suspicious activity
- Complete detailed Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports
- Contact law enforcement, fire, or EMS personnel when emergency situations arise
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence
- Active Level III Commissioned Security License
- Active Drivers License with a clean Driving Record
- Ability to pass a Physical Resistance Testing (PRT)
- Ability to successfully pass a Drug Screening/Physical Examination
- Verifiable High School Diploma, College Degree or Transcripts
- 5 years of verifiable security experience
- Reliable attendance and ability to work
