** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service at a front desk in an educational and research-focused location by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies.

+ Greet students, faculty, staff, visitors, and vendors; verify visitor credentials, issue access passes when authorized, and maintain accurate visitor records.

+ Monitor entry activity, access-control systems, and security-related communications; report unusual activity, access concerns, and facility issues according to site procedures.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders as directed.

+ Assist with directing guests, answering routine questions, and maintaining a professional front-desk presence that helps to deter unauthorized access.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
