** How This Role Works:*

** Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

** Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

** Responsibilities:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct individuals according to established access-control protocols.

+ Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized access or other security-related concerns.

+ Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding visitor activity, incidents, policy violations, and other security-related observations.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Possess at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

+ Possess an active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
