** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.

+ Monitor access points, verify identification and credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals according to established entry and exit procedures.

+ Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as required.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify and report security-related concerns.

+ Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to visitor activity, incidents, access control, and daily operations.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Possess a college degree.

+ Possess an active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance.

+ At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
