Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pump Mechanic to join our team at TPE . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pump maintenance and repair, focusing on efficiency and precision. As a Pump Mechanic, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our pumping systems, ensuring they are operating at peak performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various pumps and related systems.
• Inspect pumps and components to diagnose mechanical issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble pumps and related equipment.
• Install and commission new pumps and systems, ensuring they meet operational standards.
• Conduct performance tests and adjust systems to ensure they function optimally.
• Maintain accurate records of service and repairs, ensuring compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to address and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications or technical training preferred).
• Proven experience as a pump mechanic or in a related field (minimum of 2 years).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of various types of pumps, including centrifugal, diaphragm, and piston pumps.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
• Ability to kneel, bend, and crouch for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in challenging environments (dust, heat, cold, etc.).
