Overview
IHG Mechanical is seeking a skilled and experienced Freon and Ammonia Refrigeration Technician to join our team in Houston, TX. This is a full-time opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about industrial refrigeration and committed to delivering high-quality service.
Responsibilities- Perform maintenance and repairs on freon and ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Install, test, and troubleshoot industrial heating and air conditioning equipment.
- Work in close coordination with the service manager and clients to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably.
- 5 years of experience in ammonia refrigeration
- Universal EPA license
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Qualified to work on both ammonia and freon systems
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
- Graduation from a trade school and RETA certification are preferred but not required
- Salary: $40 - $60 per hour

This is a full-time position with a regular schedule from approximately 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with up to 25% travel.
