• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, motors, controls, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using proper testing devices and methods.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on electrical systems and components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and company safety standards.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Work with clients, contractors, and other trades to coordinate repairs and installations.
• Complete accurate service reports, work orders, and documentation in a timely manner.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
• Mentor apprentices and support their on‑the‑job training and skill development.

• Valid State of Texas Journeyman Electrician License (required).
• Minimum 4 years of commercial electrical experience.
• Strong knowledge of the NEC and electrical safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
• Experience with electrical testing equipment (multimeters, meggers, etc.).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, and lifts at various heights.
• Stand, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
• Work indoors and outdoors in a variety of conditions.

• Experience in commercial service environments (schools, hospitals, data centers, etc.).
• Low‑voltage, high‑voltage, controls, or lighting retrofit experience.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
