• Follow E2 Optics  core value of safety and adhere to all site policies
• Lead and train a team of low voltage technicians and installers on small projects, ensuring high-quality work
• Install and maintain structured cabling systems, including fiber and copper
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and ensure accurate terminations and labeling
• Oversee jobsite organization, maintain professional appearance, and ensure compliance with security requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• OSHA 30 required
• Fiber Optic Association CPCT and CFOT certifications preferred

• 2+ years of experience in structured cabling or related fields
• Strong understanding of fiber optic and copper cabling, testing, and troubleshooting

• Ability to lead teams, manage tasks, and ensure project deadlines are met
• Ability to read and interpret floor plans, blueprints, and industry standards
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines

The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. Ability to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods. The noise level is usually moderate. Regular duties may require sitting, standing, walking, and using hands; occasional lifting up to 50 pounds and frequent lifting up to 25 pounds. Climbing ladders up to 20 feet may be required.

Travel within the region may be required. The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met to perform the essential functions of this job.
