Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable TPO Single-Ply Roofing Application Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing FM certifications, developing technical solutions, and providing end-to-end support for our TPO roofing projects. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in TPO systems and a proven track record in the commercial roofing industry.

• Primary: Candidates from leading roofing manufacturers such as Carlisle, Elevate (formerly Firestone), GAF, and Johns Manville (JM).
• Secondary: Candidates from reputable commercial roofing contractors.
• Spanish language proficiency is a significant plus.

• Manage the entire FM certification application process for TPO single-ply roofing systems.
• Establish standards for and source compatible accessory materials for the TPO single-ply roofing system.
• Conduct on-site surveys, develop technical proposals, and prepare bid documents for TPO roofing projects.
• Provide comprehensive technical support for projects post-sale, ensuring client satisfaction and system performance.

• In-depth knowledge of all application methods for TPO single-ply roofing systems.
• Thorough familiarity with the full range of accessory materials compatible with TPO single-ply roofing systems.
• Proficiency in wind load calculations and the development of technical submittals for TPO single-ply roofing systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of the FM certification process and relevant FM Data Sheets pertaining to TPO single-ply roofing.
