Seeking a Heavy Truck Mechanic.

Responsibilities:

  • Must have experience in heavy truck repair.
  • Experience with brakes and powertrain.
  • Experience with Ford and Cummins diesel and gas engines.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems in vehicle or heavy machinery contexts.
  • Interest in gaining a sound working knowledge of machinery repair, best shop practices, welding, electrical systems, and computer diagnostics.
  • Knowledge of trucks, trailers, hydraulic, electrical, and other systems.
  • Experience with tools of the trade (e.g., welding equipment, diagnostic equipment, hand and power tools) is preferred.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Able to use good judgment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Must have a complete set of tools.
