Reports to:
Track Superintendent.
Primary
Purpose:
Operate all heavy equipment in the maintenance of the race track surface. Train all operators in use of heavy equipment.
- Performs track maintenance duties including rail repair and irrigation.
- Operates equipment to maintain track surface.
- Trains operators in proper track maintenance. Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma preferred. Texas Racing Commission License required.
- Minimum 1 year heavy equipment operator, preferably race track.
- Qualified to run all heavy equipment.
- Good oral communication skills for training purposes.
