Note:
The hourly rate for this position is $35 - $35 /hour. This range is a good‑faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities- Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8 hrs./day, 6:00 am start, 40 hour/wk - Study blueprints/schematics of the commercial project, plan pipe routes, and measure/mark pipes for cutting
- Cut, bend, thread, and shape PVC, PEX, and Copper pipes to required specifications using various tools
- Join copper pipes by soldering, install supports, brackets, and hangers, and connect to equipment
- Perform pressure tests (hydrostatic), check for leaks, and inspect systems for functionality and safety
- Job duties will also include rough‑in phase, associates will be installing both underground/infrastructure and wall piping, drainage, and vents
- Make necessary modifications to accommodate unforeseen conditions along with any other duties assigned by the supervisor
- Follow all safety procedure and protocol per state and federal guidelines
- Be at least 18 years of age
- OSHA‑10 Certification REQUIRED
- TSBPE Apprentice Plumber License required for Plumbers REQUIRED
- 4 years verifiable experience doing commercial pipe fitting/plumbing REQUIRED
- 4 years verifiable experience working with PVC, CPVC, PEX and Copper pipes REQUIRED
- Ability to solder Copper pipes is REQUIRED
- Must be comfortable working out of manlifts and scissor lifts
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Position does REQUIRE a drug screen
- Position does REQUIRE a background check
