We are searching for an Electrical Technician. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3‑5 years of electrical experience. Under the general direction of Project Managers, Superintendents, and Foremen, the Electrical Technician will perform electrical, communications and electronic activities, support ongoing facilities maintenance and capital improvement projects, and supervise assigned apprentices. Physical labor on active job sites and PPE are required.

• Directly supervise/coordinate assigned helpers/apprentice electricians on a per‑job basis.
• Apply basic electrical and construction principles to solve design, development, and modification problems.
• Meet daily commitments and stay on project schedule as directed by job‑site foreman.
• Report project information to the assigned superintendent or foreman on a scheduled basis.
• Ensure occupational health and safety of assigned employees in accordance with state and federal regulations, departmental and district policies, and industry standards.
• Inspect work in progress to assure compliance with applicable codes, standards, project specifications, and quality assurance procedures.
• Keep job site clean and clutter‑free.
• Troubleshoot common electrical systems, including services, feeders, and branch circuits.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit.
• Install control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit‑breaker panels.
• Connect power cables to equipment and install grounding leads.
• Observe functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards and necessary adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
• Repair faulty equipment or systems.

• High school graduate or G.E.D.
• 3‑5 years of experience in the industrial electrical industry.
• Valid state motor‑vehicle operator’s license with a clear driving record.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints.
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NFPA).
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills.
• High efficiency and time‑management skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop electrical skills.
